The M.V. Educational Institutions are located in Chowara, approximately 20 kilometers from Thiruvananthapuram City, and are in close proximity to Vizhinjam International Seaport Ltd. The Upper Primary School was founded in 1968, while the Institute for Teacher Education (ITE) commenced its operations in 2004, both initiated by the Madhavavilasam Educational Trust. The esteemed educationalist and social activist, the late Sri. P. Madhavapanicker, served as the founder, with Smt. J. Syamalabai assuming the role of founding manager.

 

The Institute has received recognition from the Government of Kerala and the National Council for Teacher Education (N.C.T.E), New Delhi, Government of India, in accordance with Section 14(i) of the N.C.T.E Act of 1993. It stands as one of the premier institutions in the Thiruvananthapuram District, consistently maintaining exemplary academic standards and engaging in various academic activities.
